Tina relocated to New York and began producing in 2006 with her first show" Velvet V(odd)ville" She has since gone on to produce multiple shows in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Las Vegas including: "Le Salad de Burlesque, Cafe Cornichon's Monthly Burlesque Revue, The Monday Night Burly - Q Comedy Revue, Chi-Chi Wow Wow Burlesque for Casa Mezcal, The Face Down Ass Up Circus, Juggling jesse Goes to Hell, Hello-Goodbye, Burlesque heads West, Burlesque at Billet and Bellows , I Dare You and Horsin Around. She is currently based out of Las Vegas.
Tina began her career as a professional dancer in Los Angles. She has traveled around the word dancing, appeared in the Vegas style production of "Fantasy" in Pusan Korea for Hotel Lotte, and danced for artists Bjork, and Fat Boy Slim. She is the recipient of an MTV Music Award for best break out video with The mock dance company The Torrance Community Dance Group directed by Spike Jonez and appears in the mocumentry "Torrance Rises".
Tina performs as a solo burlesque artist and as an aerialist on lyra, corde de lisse, fabric and aerial hammock.
Tina is the creator and co-producer along with Kyle Petersen of "The Loose Caboose" a monthly neo vaudeville revue featuring some of the most entertaining performers in the burlesque and cabaret scene every 4th Friday of the month. Past guests include , Albert Cadabra, World Famous *BOB*, Bastard Keith, Bradford Scobie, Chris McDaniel, Corn Mo, Honi Harlow, Miss Saturn, Oleg Frish, Shelly Watson, Throwdini and most notably the late great Joe Franklin, legendary radio host, hosted the show.
Ms. Tina Cione' is the creator and director of the burlesque troupe The Chi-Ciones. She combines jazz, ballet and hip hop choreography with the classic art of burlesque.
The Chi-Ciones have appeared in The New York Burlesque Festival, Las Vegas Burlesque Festival, at The Slipper Room, Galapagos, and were the in-house burlesque troupe for "Skits and Tits" during its 2 year run at The Bowery Poetry Club.
This dance ensemble consists of Dixie Amor, KiKi Dee, Molly Boom Boom and Tina.
The Chi-Ciones are available for hire for private events.
